New Enrolment Aadhar Update in Aadhaar Biometric in Aadhaar
The Aadhaar enrolment process includes visiting Enrolment Centre, filling the enrolment form, getting demographic and biometric data captured, submitting proof of Identity and address documents, before collecting acknowledgement slip containing Enrolment ID. You can visit any Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Centre for update of demographic and biometrics details in Aadhaar. However you can also update your address or document (POI & POA) in your Aadhaar through online mode. Biometric Aadhaar enrollment requires visiting a designated Aadhaar Enrolment Centre (like an Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Post Office Aadhaar Center), where your biometric data (fingerprints, iris scan, and facial image) is electronically captured after you provide original Proof of Identity (PoI), Proof of Address (PoA), and/or Proof of Relationship (PoR) documents. The enrolment process is free, and you receive an acknowledgement slip with an Enrollment ID (EID) to track the status of your Aadhaar generation or update online via the myAadhaar portal.

What id Aadhar?
Aadhaar, a 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), is given to every resident of India. Serving as a valid proof of identity and address, Aadhaar enables access to a span of government and non-government services, including banking, telecommunications, education, healthcare, and more. The system is complexly connected to a biometric database that stores the fingerprints and iris scans of the enrolled individuals. To know more about Aadhaar, read here:
